The biggest question facing the Indiana Hoosiers this offseason has been answered. Point guard Yogi Ferrell is returning to Bloomington for his senior season. As a junior, he was a First Team All-Big Ten selection and averaged a team-leading 16.3 points and 4.9 assists per game.
It became official early Sunday morning. Ferrell was one of three Hoosiers considering a jump to the NBA, but like the other two (James Blackmon Jr., Troy Williams), he will wear cream and crimson for another season.
Now, all eyes turn to the 2015-16 season. With that trio back, plus the addition of big man Thomas Bryant, IU has all of the pieces (perhaps the conference’s best starting five, a solid bench of shooters) to contend for a conference title and more.
