PISCATAWAY, N.J., –––– Winning the doubles point and earning three singles victories proved to be just enough for Indiana Women's Tennis to pick up a road victory at Rutgers, 4-3.
The Hoosiers had to go the distance to win the doubles point after splitting at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The duo of Laura Masic and Lara Schneider pulled away late at No. 1 doubles, winning 7-6 (7-5), to put Indiana up 1-0.
After, Rutgers won three of the next four matches to go up, 3-2, in position to clinch.
