Former Hoosier Will Sheehey will spend his second professional season in France after signing with Maritime Boulogne in the country’s Pro-B League.
The move comes after Sheehey played for the New Orleans Pelicans’ summer league team. While on the squad he averaged 7.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.
So far, Sheehey’s pro basketball career has been kind of a struggle. Right out of school he signed with Sheehey spent time with KK Buducnost in Montenegro. After less than stellar performances (4.2 points and 2.0 rebounds per game), Sheehey was released.
He moved on to the NBA D-League and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, but asked for his release after only eight games.
