BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana fifth-year senior Haydon Whitehead earned a spot on the Ray Guy Award Watch List for the third-straight season, the Augusta Sports Council announced on Friday. The award honors the nation's top collegiate punter.
Whitehead has averaged 40.4 yards per punt in his two seasons in Bloomington with 50 downed inside the 20-yard line and 21 inside the 10-yard line.
The Melbourne, Australia, native punted 51 times in 2018 and averaged 40.0 yards. Whitehead placed 33.3 percent of his kicks inside the 20 and blasted a long of 58 yards.
