The college basketball transfer portal is officially open.
Just as it was last spring, it’s expected to be a busy portal season for Indiana basketball.
The Hoosiers moved on from Mike Woodson at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season and hired Darian DeVries on Tuesday, March 18.
DeVries and his coaching staff must rely heavily on the transfer portal to build a 2025-26 roster.
The portal will also look different this spring than in previous years.
In October, the Division I council approved changes to the notification-of-transfer window. The change included reducing the window from 45 to 30 consecutive days in football and men’s and women’s basketball.
