Former IU center Kel’el Ware, the No. 15 pick in last month’s NBA draft, made his NBA Summer League debut on Saturday.
The 7-footer played 24 minutes for the Heat and finished with 12 points, six rebounds, five blocked shots and two turnovers in a 105-66 loss to Golden State.
Saturday’s game was played at the Chase Center in San Francisco as part of the California Classic. Ware and the Heat will play again Sunday afternoon against Sacramento at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV.
