EUGENE, Ore. – Day three of the NCAA Championships was the final day of men's competition. It featured the Championships debut of redshirt freshman in the 5,000m.
The Carmel, Ind. native earned his first All-American honors (second team) when he finished 16 overall with the time of 14:06.40. Veatch was one-of-two freshman to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the 5,000m and he was finished two seconds before Cooper Teare of Oregon, nabbing the final All-American position.
The final day of the NCAA Championships will feature the return of All-American in the 5,000m. Receveur finished third at the 2017 NCAA Championships and broke her own school record in March at the Stanford Invitational with the time of 15:43.
