BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team defeated the No. 17-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Ind.
With the win, Indiana extends the team's win-streak and school-record consecutive shutout mark to eight games, improving IU to 12-0-2 on the season overall and to 4-0-2 in Big Ten conference play. IU's eight-match win streak is the longest for the team since 2003, when the Hoosiers won 10-consecutive. Ohio State falls to 7-5-1 on the year and to 3-3 in league action.
