Tom Crean agrees to become Georgia’s head coach

When Indiana decided to move on from Tom Crean following the 2016-2017 basketball season, college basketball fans all across the country knew that he would eventually find another job somewhere. After spending this past season as an analyst for many outlets, Crean has secured another job. As ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported yesterday that he has agreed to become the head coach for Georgia basketball.

After a disappointing 18-15 finish that had the Bulldogs finishing 11th in the SEC standings, they decided to let go of head coach Mark Fox. In his second season with Georgia, Fox led them to an NCAA Tournament berth.
