FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Three Hoosiers saw the podium at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon as Indiana Track & Field wrapped day one.
Maddy Pollard kicked it off in the shot put with a heave of 16.99m (55' 9") to place seventh overall. She has now hit the podium in her last three championship appearances.
Ben Veatch broke the indoor school record in the 5000m with a time of 13:33.50. Veatch placed eighth in the event and made the podium. The previous school record was 13:37.03 which was set by Andrew Poore in 2011.
