BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Former Indiana University men's soccer stars Jack Maher, Justin Rennicks and Mason Toye were among the names mentioned by senior writer Matthew Doyle of MLS.com as the best 22 players under the age of 22 in Major League Soccer.
Maher, the second overall selection by Nashville SC in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft, began his rookie campaign on loan at Charlotte. Before departing for the MLS, Maher racked up numerous individual awards, including unanimous All-America, Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, Big Ten Freshman of the Year and first team All-Big Ten honors.
