Kyle Schwarber’s first go-around in the Majors was by far considered a success. In six games, he hit .364 with one home run, six RBI and scored six runs. It would have been easy to say it was because of beginner’s luck. But after his performance this week, that opinion doesn’t hold up any longer. Schwarber is no fluke or “flash in the pan,” and the next young talent” the Chicago Cubs possess should be a permanent fixture for the big league club going forward.
