INDIANAPOLIS – No. 4 seed Indiana couldn't hang on to a halftime lead as it fell to No. 5 seed Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals, 66-60, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday afternoon.
Indiana (20-10) was led by a pair of double-doubles from senior guard Alexis Gassion and junior forward Amanda Cahill. Junior forward Tyra Buss paced IU offensively with 16 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
The Hoosiers shot 35.5 percent from the floor in the loss, despite going 50 percent combined in the first half.
