Sam Houston transfer Lamar Wilkerson, a first-team All-Conference USA selection last season, has committed to Indiana.
Wilkerson also had interest from Kentucky, Auburn, Ole Miss and several other high-major programs. He visited Indiana and Kentucky prior to announcing his decision.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard has one season of eligibility remaining. He played three seasons at Sam Houston and began his career at Three Rivers College. Wilkerson is a native of Ashdown, Arkansas.
Wilkerson played in 32 games last season for the Bearkats – all starts – and averaged 20.5 points, four rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.
