Even after new head coach Mike Woodson overhauled the Indiana basketball coaching staff earlier this month, former Archie Miller-era assistant Mike Roberts still had a role to play.
Roberts did not get to keep his old job as one of IU’s three assistant coaches, but he was offered a position as the Hoosiers’ assistant athletic director for basketball administration. On Monday, however, a new job offer came Roberts’ way — one that would put him back on the bench as a countable coach.
According to Stadium’s Jeff Goodman, Roberts is headed to Cincinnati to become an assistant for newly-hired head coach Wes Miller.
