On the heels of the our report that Kevin Wilson is heading to Ohio State to take the offensive coordinator position, Indiana has a new man to replace Kevin Johns in the same role.
It’s Mike DeBord, who’s departing Butch Jones’ staff at Tennessee to take the job in Bloomington.
DeBord, a Muncie native and graduate of Manchester University, has deep Indiana and Big Ten ties. He spent from 1993 to 1999 as Michigan’s offensive line coach and then returned to Michigan as special teams coordinator, then offensive coordinator from 2004 to 2007. He was the head coach at Central Michigan from 2000 to 2003.
