BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Big Ten Conference announced on Wednesday that 1,517 students – including 105 from Indiana athletics teams – have earned the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award. The list includes students from all 14 institutions and 38 different sports, who have recorded a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher for the previous academic year.
The 105 honorees from Indiana represents a school record and the second straight year the Hoosiers have set a record for most honorees. It also represents a significant improvement from the 67 honorees in the 2018-19 school year.
