Indiana University is in its 119th season of competition in men's basketball. The Hoosiers will take on Butler in the eighth installment of the Crossroads Classic which features IU, Butler, Purdue and Notre Dame. IU is 4-3 in the event, defeating Notre Dame, 80-77, in overtime last year. The 25th-rated Hoosiers are ranked for the first time in nearly two seasons and are riding a three-game winning streak, including a 68-67 win over Louisville at home in their last contest. The Bulldogs are 7-2 and are coming off a 95-68 win over Northern Illinois on December 8.
