• The 118th season of Indiana basketball continues on Friday when the Hoosiers host Minnesota. IU is coming off a 65-43 win at Rutgers, while Minnesota fell at home to Nebraska, 91-85. The Hoosiers won the first meeting betweeen the teams on January 6 in Minneapolis, 75-71. Senior Robert Johnson had a career-high 28 points, and junior Juwan Morgan and freshman Justin Smith each chipped in 20.
• Sophomore center De'Ron Davis, who started the first 15 games this season, underwent surgery on Jan. 10 to repair a torn Achilles tendon in his right leg and will miss the remainder of the season.
