CINCINNATI, Ohio – Former Indiana men's soccer All-American Pat Noonan is the newest Hoosier to join the Major League Soccer head coaching ranks as he was named the boss at FC Cincinnati, the club announced on Tuesday (Dec. 14).
Noonan (1999-2002) joins Columbus Crew head man Caleb Porter (1994-97) as the second former Hoosier currently serving as a head coach in MLS.
Noonan was a three-time All-American and two-time MAC Hermann Trophy runner-up during his time in cream and crimson and helped Indiana to three NCAA College Cup appearances, two national title matches and an NCAA National Championship as a freshman in 1999.
