INDIANAPOLIS – The Novice 8 picked up a medalist honor as it finished third overall while the No. 9 Indiana Hoosiers finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships at Eagle Creek Park on Sunday.
KEY MOMENTS
- The Novice 8 started the day off for the Hoosiers in a gritty race that came down to a photo finish for third place. Indiana pushed in the final 500 meters to edge out Wisconsin with a time of 6:59.140.
- The Third Varsity 4 and Second Varsity 4 turned in sixth place and eighth place finishes, respectively, while the Varsity 4 came in fourth with a time of 7:33.
