COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The No. 8 Indiana men's soccer team (14-2-4, 7-1-0 Big Ten) played to a 0-0 draw against the Michigan Wolverines (11-4-5, 4-1-3 Big Ten) in the championship tilt of the 2019 Big Ten Conference Tournament at Ludwig Field on Sunday afternoon. Indiana claimed the title by way of a 4-3 advantage in the penalty kick shootout.
The tournament crown is the 14th in program history for Indiana. The Hoosiers also claimed the title in 2018, giving IU back-to-back conference tournament championships since the program won six-straight from 1994-99.
Indiana pulled off the Big Ten regular season and tournament championship double for the 10th time in school history and for the second-straight season.
