COLUMBUS, Ohio – Eighth ranked Indiana baseball (29-6, 7-2) opened up the weekend with a 4-0 shutout victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes (25-12, 6-4 Big Ten) on Friday night at Bill Davis Stadium.
Junior Jonathan Stiever was strong on the mound for the Hoosiers, as he scattered five hits in seven innings while striking out six. Senior B.J. Sabol and sophomore Cal Krueger each tossed a perfect frame in relief.
Junior Ryan Fineman and sophomore Matt Gorski led the way for the Hoosiers, each recording two hits and an RBI.
