BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Hoosiers Women's Basketball team hosted the Nicholls State Colonels on Sunday afternoon and came away with a 111-47 victory. Redshirt junior guard finished just shy of a triple-double with 17 points, eight rebounds and nine assists in only 24 minutes. Freshman added a game-high 22 points on a perfect 9-for-9 shooting from the field.
KEY MOMENTS
- The Hoosiers opened up the game on a 15-0 run, drawing a Nicholls State timeout at the 5:44 mark in the first quarter. Indiana never trailed in the contest.
- Holmes had a put-back layup as time expired in the first quarter to give the Hoosiers a 35-12 lead.
