COLLEGE PARK, Md. – No. 17 Indiana got in a hole early and couldn't recover as it fell to No. 20 Maryland, 76-62, on Monday night at Xfinity Center.

KEY MOMENTS

  • Maryland (14-4, 5-2 B1G) started off the game on an 8-0 opening run before the Hoosiers climbed back in to it. They would come within four on a pull-up from Berger.
  • Holmes would keep the lead within three, 14-11, as Patberg's steal and Penn's layup in transition put IU within one with 1:28 to play.
  • Gulbe would draw contact underneath the rim as she grabbed a brief lead for the Hoosiers (14-5, 4-3 B1G) with 39 seconds to play on a pair at the line.
