SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Fifteenth-ranked Indiana baseball (7-1) picked up its seventh-straight win on Friday night as it defeated No. 13 San Diego, 10-4, at Fowler Park.
Junior Jonathan Stiever earned his first win of the season, as he scattered seven hits and three runs over 5.2 innings, while striking out seven. Senior Kade Kryzsko tallied his first save of the season, as he tossed 3.1 innings of shutout relief.
Offensively, IU had a season-high 13 hits as a team, led by a 3-for-4 effort from junior Ryan Fineman, who homered and drove in four runs in his return to his home state.
