- Exchanging baskets for most of the first quarter, senior guard Ali Patberg and redshirt junior guard Nicole Cardaño-Hillary were the first to score for Indiana. Junior guard Aleksa Gulbe tied it up at six apiece early with a pair of made free throws before Patberg made a pullup jumper off a Michigan turnover to take the lead.
