PALO ALTO, Calif. – No. 14 Indiana had its four game win streak snapped in a tough battle at No. 2 Stanford on Sunday afternoon.
KEY MOMENTS
- Indiana (14-13) scored on opening posessions of the first two quarters but six unanswered goals by the Cardinal put them ahead 10-4 at the break. Senior Izzy Mandema led the way for IU with a hat trick in the first half alone as junior Lanna Debow added a goal as well.
- Nothing came across for the Hoosiers in the third as it capitalized off a pair of goals in the fourth from Debow and junior Zoe Crouch.
