BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 13-ranked Indiana Hoosiers defeated the No. 23/25 Michigan Wolverines, 38-21, at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. on Saturday afternoon.
IU out-gained the Wolverines, 460-357, and limited U-M to just 13 yards rushing on the day. The Hoosier defense forced a pair of turnovers and had three sacks.
Indiana improves to 3-0 on the season with the victory and improved to 3-0 in Big Ten play for the first time since the 1988 season. IU's win over Michigan was the program's first since 1987.
