TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Eleventh-ranked Indiana baseball (17-5, 1-1) earned a 5-3 victory at Indiana State on Wednesday night at Bob Warn Field.
The Hoosiers tallied 10 hits as a team, and were led by senior Logan Sowers, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Junior Ryan Fineman also homered in the contest, as he went 2-for-4 as well. Freshman Sam Crail added two hits in the win and junior Matt Lloyd tallied an RBI.
Junior Tim Herrin, a Terre Haute native, picked up his first win of the season as he went four strong innings of relief allowing four hits with four striekouts.
