TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – In the midst of a long road swing, the Indiana baseball program showed some grit in a 6-5 come-from-behind win at Indiana State on Tuesday (April 12) evening on Bob Warn Field.
With just one hit entering the ninth inning, junior Hunter Jessee, freshman Carter Mathison and graduate student Tyler Doanes provided the three biggest hits of the season for Indiana (13-18) to this point. Jessee drove in one RBI with a two-out single and Mathison followed it with a full-count three-run home run to tie the game.
