BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's basketball alum Nicole Cardaño-Hillary will return to her home country as she has signed a professional contract with IDK Euskotren in Donstia-San Sebastian, Spain.
Cardaño-Hillary closed out her two-year Indiana career in 2021-22 as she helped the Hoosiers to a pair of 20-win seasons and two NCAA Tournament appearances. She was an All-Big Ten second team, All-Big Ten defensive team and earned Big Ten All-Tournament team honors in her final season. She started in 32 games last year averaging 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and a team-high 2.3 steals per game.
