New Indiana University president Pamela Whitten, who took over for Michael McRobbie on July 1, paid a visit to the athletics campus in Bloomington this week.
Whitten, who was named the 19th president in IU history on April 16, visited men’s basketball, women’s basketball and football, according to several posts published on social media.
The Tennessee native came to Indiana from Kennesaw State University where she served as president for just over three years.
Prior to Kennesaw State, Whitten worked at the University of Georgia, Michigan State University and the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Madam President – welcome to Indiana!
