On Wednesday IU announced that after a months long process the NCAA has granted transfer quarterback Jack Tuttle’s waiver and he will be immediately eligible.
The California native spent last season as a redshirt at Utah and will have four years of eligibility remaining for Indiana.
”We are very pleased for Jack and his family,” IU head coach Tom Allen said. “We look forward to him competing this fall. We also appreciate the NCAA’s assistance throughout this process.”
Tuttle, who joined the Hoosiers in December, adds a new dynamic to the battle for playing time under center now that his waiver has been granted.
