As was announced yesterday, Indiana sophomore Emmitt Holt was dismissed from the team and freshman Thomas Bryant will receive “internal” discipline after an incident on August 21 where the pair was cited for illegal possession of alcohol by excise police. But now, there’s more to the story.
Per Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star, former Hoosier Hanner Mosquera-Perea (yes, you read that right) and current freshman Juwan Howard were with Holt and Bryant. According to Osterman, Brandon Thomas, a public information officer with the excise police, said that Morgan and Mosquera-Perea were in the vehicle with Holt and Bryant but not cited.
