PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Three-time All-American Willie Morrison broke the shot put school record by a foot Friday afternoon on the second day of the Penn Relays.
The Leavenworth, Kan. native launched the shot put 19.98m (65' 6.5") on his third attempt of the day, which is a life time best and new school record. Morrison held the previous record of 19.69m (64' 7.25"), which he set at the 2017 NCAA East Prelims.
Junior Treyton Harris finished with an outdoor season-best mark of 7.56m (24' 9.75"), which earned him a third place finish.
