The former Hoosier called game on Sunday evening’s semifinal round of The Basketball Tournament, sinking the game-winning 3-pointer to send No. 22 Sideline Cancer to a 67-65 victory over No. 2 Overseas Elite. The win puts Sideline Cancer in Tuesday’s $1 million, winner-take-all championship game against No. 4 Golden Eagles, a team of former Marquette players (including one-time Hoosier Luke Fischer).
Creek’s shot triggered the Elam Ending for Sideline Cancer, and stood as his third 3-pointer of the night. He finished with 10 points and seven rebounds, sealing the win one day after pouring in a team-high 22 points and busting the zone of Boeheim’s Army in the quarterfinals round.
