Milto Strikes Out Nine in 3-1 Indiana Victory over Pacific

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Tied 1-1 in the seventh inning, 12th-ranked Indiana baseball (10-4) scored two runs to secure a 3-1 victory over the Pacific Tigers on Saturday afternoon, which evened the series at one game apiece.

The Hoosiers got another strong starting pitching performance for the second day in a row, as junior Pauly Milto went seven innings, allowing just three hits and a run while striking out nine batters, which matches his career-high against N.C. State in the Lexington Regional last season. With the win, Milto improves to 3-1 on the year and lowered his ERA to 2.
