Maher was instrumental in eliminating the aerial attack of the No. 16 Kentucky Wildcats in a 0-0 draw between ranked teams on Oct. 9. Maher anchored the defense and played all 110 minutes from the center back position. Kentucky managed 14 shots in the contest, but only put four on frame against the Indiana pressure.
Indiana blanked the Michigan Wolverines, 1-0, in regulation on Oct.
