Each year as the NBA Draft approaches the league sends out invitations to high-profile draftees to come and hang out in the green room at the event, waiting for their name to be called so they can go up on stage, shake the commissioner’s hand, get a picture, etc. It’s a boost to the television coverage of the draft and it’s a great thing to do for the players. On Wednesday it was reported that IU guard Romeo Langford will join guys like Zion Williamson, Ja Morant and Darius Garland in receiving an invitation:
