BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Big Ten Conference announced its postseason Field Hockey honors on Wednesday afternoon. After a 10-9 regular season, capped off by earning the No. 7 seed in the Big Ten Tournament, IU saw two players named in the conference's recognition.
Freshman midfielder Kira Curland was named Second Team All-Big Ten in a selection by the conference's coaches. The Sickte, Germany had a fantastic freshman campaign in Bloomington. She paced IU's offensive attack with seven goals (1st), six assists (T-1st) and 20 points (1st).
Curland finished the regular season among the leaders for freshman in the conference.
