Indiana basketball fans received some bad news today as it was announced sophomore shooting guard James Blackmon Jr. tore his meniscus and will be sidelined for the rest of the summer.

It was suggested by head coach Tom Crean that Blackmon Jr. will be out until September at the latest. This is certainly a blow for the sophomore that averaged almost 16 points per game last season, but with a September return, he’ll still have time to get himself ready for the start of the season.
