BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's basketball team (6-0) defeated the Marshall Thundering Herd (4-2) by a score of 90-79 on Saturday night inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall to secure the Hoosier Classic team title.
Junior/sophomore forward led the way for the Hoosiers with a career-best and Assembly Hall record 43 points. He added five rebounds and five blocks. The scoring output marked the most by a Hoosier since current IU head coach tallied 48 points against at Illinois on March 3, 1979.
The game marked the Center Grove product's third-career 30-point game and first-career 40-point game.
