For the first time since Yogi Ferrell in 2016, an Indiana player has earned All-America status and a spot on the All-Big Ten first team.
It’s Trayce Jackson-Davis, IU’s star sophomore who on Tuesday picked up a whole bunch of postseason honors. Jackson-Davis’ All-America nod comes from The Sporting News, while the league’s media members selected him to the all-conference first team. Big Ten coaches placed the Greenwood, Ind. native on the second team.
Jackson-Davis also landed on the Associated Press’ All-Big Ten first team.
For the season, Jackson-Davis is the only Big Ten player averaging at least 19.
