With Michael Penix’s season-ending ACL injury and former four-star recruit Jack Tuttle’s ascendance to the starting role, a lot of attention has been focused on Indiana’s quarterback depth this week.
And in a few months, IU’s quarterback room will become even deeper.
Four-star dual-threat quarterback Donaven McCulley is set to join the Hoosiers’ program next season, and when he officially signs, McCulley will be one of IU’s highest-ranked recruits of the rankings era. McCulley received a ratings bump of 119 spots from Rivals on Wednesday, making him the No. 100 player nationally in the 2021 recruiting class.
