EVANSTON, Ill. - Indiana Men's Basketball (12-7, 3-5 Big Ten) saw its comeback bid fall short at Northwestern on Tuesday night as the Hoosiers dropped a 73-66 decision to the Wildcats (12-7, 3-5 Big Ten).
Northwestern jumped to a 15-point lead with 12:11 remaining in the game before the Hoosiers went on a 13-1 run to cut the deficit to 56-53 with 6:42 remaining. However, IU would get no closer.
Indiana was led in scoring with a double-double from senior Juwan Morgan, who had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Rob Phinisee added 13 points, while fellow freshman Romero Langford scored 12 points.
