IU sophomore guard Gabe Cupps undergoes surgery, out indefinitely

Indiana sophomore guard Gabe Cupps underwent surgery and will be out indefinitely, according to a release issued Wednesday afternoon.

The release stated that the surgery for Cupps was successful and took place to treat “a preexisting, nagging injury to his lower body.”

No further details were given.

The 6-foot-2 guard from Centerville, Ohio has appeared in just four games for Indiana this season and has not scored a point. Cupps last played against Providence on Nov. 29 at the Battle 4 Atlantis.
