Indiana’s 2020 recruiting class is now 10 players deep.
Three-star Florida defensive back Aubrey Burks announced his commitment to IU on Friday, giving the Hoosiers one of their priority targets in the current recruiting cycle. Burks chose Indiana over offers from Georgia Tech, Louisville, Pittsburgh, South Florida and West Virginia, among others. The 6-foot, 180-pound native of Auburndale, Fla. is considered the No. 56 safety nationally and the No. 102 overall recruit in his home state.
Burks plays linebacker in high school and could be a fit for the Husky position at IU. As a junior last fall, Burks posted 63 tackles, including 48 solo stops, along with 17 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and six sacks.
