DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 24-ranked Indiana Softball team improved to 7-0 on the season as the Hoosiers swept day one of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, defeating Duke, 3-0, and Syracuse, 6-5, in the nightcap.
Indiana's 7-0 start is the best since the 1990 campaign when the Hoosiers began the year 11-0. In addition, it marks only the third time in program history IU has started 7-0 or better with the other year coming in 1977.
