BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – To support those impacted by Hurricane Harvey, the Indiana University football team, along with Ohio State, will wear custom "Houston Strong" helmet stickers during their season-opening game tonight at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind.
With the relief efforts ongoing due to Hurricane Harvey, the Indiana University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced it will donate boxes of clothing, shoes and other items to Houston and the greater Houston community.
Hoosiers on the football team from the state of Texas include:
• Fifth-year senior QB Richard Lagow of Plano
• Redshirt junior WR Luke Timian of Southlake
• Redshirt sophomore DB Jameel Cook Jr.
